The Cat Museum was founded on the belief that everyone can love an animal when they have the chance to connect with them and gain positive, firsthand experiences. People often fear what they don’t understand, so to make cats more approachable, hundreds of dedicated volunteers came together to establish Lion City Kitty on Purvis Street—the world’s first non-profit Cat Museum with live animals. The museum not only showcased cat-inspired art and craft from around the world, but also served as an interactive education center, as well as a Kitty Orphanage, Kindergarten, and Nursery for adoptions. Over the span of three and a half years, it successfully rescued and rehomed nearly 400 cats.
The donations they receive from compassionate individuals like you, who share their love and dedication to supporting Singapore’s cats and kittens, help them continue their vital mission of “Sharing Love, Saving Lives.”
